New Zealand have won the toss and elected to bat.


New Zealand, electing to bat first after winning the toss, made 271/7 with Martin Guptill scoring a century and Ross Taylor scoring a half century.

Guptill scored 100 from 126 deliveries which included 10 fours and a six while Ross Taylor made 59 runs from 73 balls with three boundaries to her name.

Colin Munro scored 34 runs while Colin de Grandhomme made 29 runs for the team.

Rumman Raees picked up three wickets for Pakistan while Faheem Ashraf grabbed two wickets. Aamer Yamin picked up a wicket each as well.

In reply, Pakistan were all out after scoring 256 in 49 overs. Haris Sohail made 63 runs from 87 balls while Shadab Khan made 54 runs from 77 balls with five boundaries to his name.

Aamer Yamin and Mohammad Nawaz provided late resistance as they made 32 and 23 runs respectively.

Matt Henry, making his return to the side, picked up four wickets while Mitchell Santner dismissed three Pakistani batsmen. Lockie Ferguson and Colin de Grandhomme grabbed two and one wicket respectively.

New Zealand won the first ODI by 61 under the duckworth-lewis method and went on to win the second game by eight wickets under the D/L method. They wrapped up the series by winning the 3rd ODI by a whooping 183 runs and won the fourth match of the series by five wickets
